I recently had an opportunity to pick up some generic papers which were supposed to be a direct replacement for 98×26 Raw papers. Generics, mind you; not bootleg. I sent them off to a friend who is working the L’il Fella thinking he might find them useful.
This is his report:
About 60% of them fit the hole perfectly, but then there were those which were just a wee bit large. That’s better than a 30% fail rate. I don’t know about you, but I would suggest not using anything but genuine papers.
If you find yourself sitting on some ‘not quite standardized’ papers, don’t throw them away. You can always fill a coffee cup w/ them and then hand scoop feed stock into them. Darn things are too expensive to throw away.
